Enroll your child for free monthly books!

Inspire your child's love of reading with Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.

Thanks to the generous gift from Thomas Bangasser, Africatown Community Land Trust (ACLT) has launched a partnership with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to increase youth literacy in the greater Seattle area.

Recognizing that over 90% of language development occurs in the first few years of life, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library prioritizes providing access to young readers by getting age-appropriate books into the hands of enrolled children and their families via mail. This service is provided to children regardless of household income.

Do you live in King County? Do you have a child younger than 5?

How do I Enroll My Child?

When does the first book arrive?

Your child will begin receiving books through the U.S. Postal Services six to eight weeks after the registration form has been received. If you move, please contact ACLT at 206-596-2896 to notify us of your change in address so your child can continue receiving books.

Is there any cost to me?

NO! Through the generous support of donors in our community, this is a FREE program.
